End of Summer

Labor Day weekend is upon us and it seems like with it comes the official end to summer. We’ve had a great summer overall that has included a vacation to Florida, trips to Chicago and Minnesota, as well as a number of trips back to Davenport to visit family. With summer time coming to an official close I am so thankful to look back at it and say that this has been a great summer for my family. Jessica’s health has improved a lot from what it once was and that has enabled our family to do a lot of things together. I’ve been so thankful to see her being able to get out and do the things she wants to do. Whether it’s been swimming in our neighborhood pool, taking walks to the mall, or going on bike rides around a pond, I’ve been truly thankful for every minute that my family has been able to spend together.
