My Art Bio

I am from Ames, Iowa and only recently moved from the Quad Cities. My family owns a store in Davenport, that was started by my late Grandfather. I knew what hard work was from a young age, but always felt encouraged in my love for art. I have always loved art and any way I could find to put things together to show the idea I had in my head was a good day.

This is the first year I've really dove into trying to get my art out there for others to see. It is exciting and terrifying at the same time...however, I do think that helps me paint with a unique quality and emotion.

I don’t want my art to be easily printed, I want it to only be fully appreciated and moved by in person. I’m not interested in mass producing, instead I’m interested in expressing the beauty and terror I feel through my art.  It is my hope to bring a sense of fullness and understanding that others can grasp, hold onto and get lost in.
